While stating other reports, Sub-Inspector Mofoka showed that a 58 year old man of Quthing is expected to appear in court before the Quthing Magistrate court on charges of sexual assault.

Reports explain that the said accused is said to have summoned a 10 year old girl to come to his house and hep him with watering his garden. He then dragged the victim into his house where he sexually assaulted her and gave her M10.00 while also threatening her not to utter a word about the incident.

The victim is said to have reported the matter to her mother upon her arrival at home whereby the suspect was apprehended and taken into Police custody before appearing before the court.

On the other hand, the report has revealed that two men Teboho Molauli of Ladybrand ‘Manyatseng’ and Thuso Ts’oaeli of Botshabelo have appeared before the Maseru Magistrate court after being found with counterfeit money and a 9MM firearm in their possession.

It is explained the suspects are reported to have used a M100.00 note to make a purchase at one bottle store then later tried to make an electronic transfer whereby they were caught during the process.
