With COVID-19 infections still increasing in the country, members of the community are urged to wear their masks at all times.
This was emphasised at the handing over ceremony of masks by Barati ba Khotso Gospel Choir to the elderly and vulnerable children at Khoobeng, Roma on Saturday.
When handing over the masks on behalf of the Choir, Mr. Khatiso Liphoto indicated that Basotho are still in danger due to COVID-19, thereby encouring them to wear them at all times.
The Chief of Khoobeng, Chief Tanki Nkaleche expressed great gratitude and appreciation on behalf of his community.
He appealed to the entire community to wear their masks at all times to combat the spread of this pandemic, expressing concern that some community members only wear them when going shopping.
Meanwhile, the country’s latest reports show that as of Sunday, October 11, there are 20,909 tests conducted with 1,805 positive cases, recoveries at 961 and 42 deaths.
